Glazed Mincemeat Cookies
- No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1 cup All-Vegetable Shortening
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 (9 oz.) package None Such® Classic Original Condensed Mincemeat finely crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups Powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons fresh orange or lemon juice
- Step 1
HEAT oven to 375°F. Coat baking sheets with no-stick cooking spray. Beat shortening and sugar in large bowl with mixer on high speed until fluffy. Blend in eggs.
- Step 2
STIR together flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Gradually add to shortening mixture, mixing well. Stir in mincemeat.
- Step 3
DROP by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from baking sheets to wire rack to cool completely.
- Step 4
WHISK powdered sugar and orange juice in small bowl. Spread glaze onto cookies.
